AIRS was established in 1998 by Ross McInnes, the dealer principal, to provide the market with an independent perspective on Australian and Global investment opportunities for wholesale investors including funds managers, brokers, financial advisors and corporations.
AIRS remains an independently owned and managed financial services firm which provides general financial product advice and associated dealing services to wholesale clients. AIRS is authorised by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to offer these products and services through the AIRS Australian Financial Services Licence No. 245379.
AIRS specialises in innovative investment and business advice across the major financial markets and asset classes which includes official authorities in the following types of financial products - (i) Derivatives, (ii) Foreign Exchange contracts, (iii) Government debentures, stocks and bonds and (iv) Securities - covering equities and debentures.
AIRS also has the capabilities to deal on behalf of wholesale clients, by applying for, varying or disposing of financial products in the following classes - (i) Government debentures, stock and bonds and (ii) Securities.
